Helping you
get lit,by life

For decades, alcohol dimmed my light, compromising my potential. One day, I woke up.

You wouldn’t believe what happened next.

My gear shift: breaking the cycle

When you go hard at everything you do in life, you want to reward yourself. For me, that was alcohol.

What I didn’t see was the cost of that. The next morning, I’d be slower off the blocks, my energy sapped.

Amid all that, and a hectic life, I wasn’t stopping to enjoy the moment.

The day I stopped drinking, everything changed for the better.

  • My sleep deepened.

  • My mind cleared.

  • My mood lifted.

  • My energy surged.

I began enjoying a second life, and embarked on a journey it would be selfish not to share.

My background: journalist, truth‑seeker

Before I became an alcohol‑free advocate, I was a journalist, newspaper editor, award-winning author and communications consultant.

My work was about cutting through the clutter to expose the truth.

I’ve always cared about people being informed, empowered and confident.

When I stopped drinking, these instincts sharpened.

My journalism and communications background taught me how to:

  • see what was really going on, including in my life

  • challenge assumptions

  • simplify complexity

  • communicate with honesty and impact.

Now I use that experience and skills to help people see through the lies of alcohol.

My mission: unlocking the real you

I’m not here to shame — I’m here to help people feel stronger and get control.

I’m not here to diagnose — I’m here to offer a different viewpoint based on lived experience.

I’m not here to preach— I’m here to support those committed to building a brighter future.

You don’t have to be an alcoholic to question your relationship with alcohol.

I believe many people are denying themselves a more purposeful and fulfilled life because they are held back by their drinking. Are you one of them? If so …

I’d like you to meet the real, authentic you.
